Now is not a great time for reckoning people in terms of "teams". Too much schism-ing and infighting for that.

I also think a history of treating US politics like team sports is a factor in how we got here in the first place. When you look at it like that it becomes too much about just beating the other side because reasons and all principle goes out the window.
