Next It still appalls me that this world of light is controlled by that princess. A carefree youth, a life of luxury... How does that teach duty? (Screenshot courtesy of Rook.) This makes me wonder how the crown raised Midna. If she knew she would rule, perhaps she was raised in a more militant fashion, with few belongings? I can't think of another atmosphere where the crown could both preserve their heir, instill "duty," and withhold luxuries. It would explain her taste for adornments now, too. Or, if the rulers are elected, she may not have been royal, or rich, at all. But I like the former. Her drive and her loyalty toward her people all scream, not just ruler, but "years of service."
