this is particularly based coming from Hirsch who used to work with Disney. I bet the dude had to endure a giant wall of uncaring Disney execs just to be able to more or less hint at the 2 gay cops in Gravity falls and I bet even that wasn't done the way Alex wanted, he must know all about Disney's fake pandering from the inside out and had to tough it all up in silence 'til he wasn't with them anymore
