Notes:
Mabel is the mother thanks to her "Dog Mom" aka. Here's the Dog Mom's children that were unfortunately, as of 2021, poorly utilized (with Chase being officially drawn 2 times by author Cherrikissu in 2018).
Characters: Chase (biological, male, age 15), Frankie & Stacy (both adoptive, females, 5).
Status: Prematurely deprioritized (Chase being the worst offender).
My initial thoughts: Epic fail. Cherrikissu forgot about Chase, but Frankie and Stacy, however, are not yet.
To Cherrikissu:
I really dislike how you possibly neglect or deprioritized your OCs, such as Chase. I'm disappointed at you, Cheri. I like your characters and art style, either, but the talent doesn't mean you're the best artist of all time, but you are still normal. Also, you've abandoned your big webcomic project, and kept it Patreon-exclusive. It's like Kenron Toqueen/Sr. Octoo abandoning Ryma H-manga and leaving it unreleased to public.
I'm sorry for berating you for that, but you can improve. Your current characters you barely milk for profits (actually, out of love for fans) still are likable and beautiful, no doubt.
"Do you feel like a hero yet?" -Colonel Konrad, Spec Ops: The Line (2012). Sorry for this heavy-handed use of such phrase, I wasn't happy with that business practice.
Why am I doing this? Because her Twitter may get suspended soon, privated or willingly deleted, sooner or later. I decided to preserve this picture. These characters are an visual evidence that Mabel the Saluki is indeed an established mother, cue her "Dog Mom" title. Regardless of skill and talents, we can't just (blindly) fully trust anyone, because sometimes they can be wrong. We can still trust, and we can also clarify and absolve.
Artists' various actions can be very questionable. Also, don't forget about their controversial antics and behaviour in any media worlds (like 6IX9INE behaving in modern hip-hop world).
I hope those characters gain some really good fan art for their original creator, Cherrikissu (pls don't attack her for not drawing Mabel and her children, especially her son Chase, unless you're an jerk. This issue is forgivable).
Yes, you and many artists can't owe me anything. I understand. I'm not a role model at all.
Leaving your OCs behind is normal, especially as a hiatus.
I have a mixed feelings about Cherrikissu. I am prone to misgivings and severe complaints, sometimes vain.
