I like that while Zorua and Corsola look miserable due to their kind dying off due to either the environment, humans, or other Pokemon, Voltorb just got more PISSED over time.

I kinda hope it's never outright explained what exactly the change between then and now to make them so furious was; one day they just got pissed.

(Or maybe the fact that other species dying out like that is the reason and Voltorbs are way more empathetic than we give them credit for, I dunno)

while we're here, random fact of the day: the Pokedex claims that Electrode actually blow themselves up for shits and giggles sometimes.

Honestly, I feel like for that reason alone, Electrode should have like a 10% chance of GAINING friendship if it faints by going kaboom instead of losing it
