Cartoon Network Studios back in 2003:

"Hey you know that Japanese singing duo we hired to write the Teen Titans intro?"

"Yeah, what about them?"

"Lets give them their own show, let them write their own intro, but instead of them voicing their own characters since their English is pretty bad, lets basically make Starfire and Raven again, but more cute and more punk, and get the voices of Jenny Wakeman and Vickey the Babysitter. "

"Woah boss, that's a lot of pre-pubescent/teen boy appeal you just crammed into once show concept, you think it'll permanently affect their taste in women two decades from now?"

"Yeah probably"

Lack of acknowledgement from all sides. The show only lasted 39 episodes over 2 years, most of the episode plot-lines weren't inherently interesting either. Plus immediate after it's cancellation Cartoon Network entered a very dark and experimental age. Starfire and Raven still have such a supportive fanbase today cause of how much attention Teen Titans have gotten since the show's ending. Like it or not, TTGO did wonders to keep the franchise alive simply because fans started remembering the OG broadcast more fondly. Fairly Oddparents just straight up lasted 10 years longer than it should've, letting Vickey stay fresh in the minds of many adults through their adolescence.

Plus I believe Ami and Yumi fall into this strange phenomena that many animated girls from the mid-2000's did. There's a reason many don't lust over Juniper Lee, or Maurecia from Wayside, or Teusday X. They simply existed too late to itch the nostalgia nerve of many young adults today, but too early to live on in the early days of the internet porn landscape. Jenny's obviously benefit greatly from the latter, her existence up until this point has been nothing but rule34.
