I think humans just find everything foreing and alien to them as 1 of 2 things either:
A)Sexy and/or interesting.
B)"`Pffft disgusting barbarians/savages/uncivilized/Insert whatever label you want " .

I could be wrong tbh , but that's how I see it often, altought I do see space for an option C in here.
