About

I Bought a Property in Egypt refers to a viral video posted by grindset influencer Cam Easty, also known as Cameron Eastwood or CamEasty, in which he says, "I bought a property in Egypt and what they do for you is they give you the property." The sentence's redundancy sparked memes that mocked hustle culture in December 2024. The videos spread on Instagram and TikTok heading into January 2025 as they were combined with Chopped Chin and Luke Belmar memes to form brainrot, lobotomy or sludge content videos popular among Instagram's Hood Irony community.
