Update: - in the early hours of the 29th July (or late 28th July), sadfutago started posting several screenshots. The posts are titled as z, e,3 ,4,2 , zinnia. Between post 3 and 4 they had been uploading a post titled 0, but it has been deleted like immediately after. This is the first time sadfutago ever deleted a post, even their posts with typos are still up. The screenshots all show the hands and/or the figure that resembles the final boss of Drakengard 3. -Zinnia has importance to the Nier Automata lore. In short, it was that Android who created the YoRHa units and ... much more that is basically responsible for a lot of story the Nier Automata game. If you want to read up the lore, I'm going to link the wiki here, under "history". Contains spoilers for Nier Automata, obviously. - again behind the scenes have been a lot of speculating. Modders trying to explain, people pointing out that the Kanji of the japanese prompt at the birdbath has been slightly wrong and that there even is a chinese character in between. These have been very unique posts that sadfutago made and don't follow up what they have been previous been doing. All I can say, stay tuned. Update shortly after: - sadfutago started adding letters into their reddit bio that spelled out a Twitch Link ze34_zinnia. An empty account that only has "finale" written under its name. Well. Now we wait. Final Update: - ze34_zinnia went live on Twitch and shared a short video. They followed the path again as 9S, opened the chest, defeated the black blob, and solved the japanese birdbath riddle correctly. They got teleported to a new room that showed the assets they showed earlier in the screenshots. After touching the flower in the center of the room, they then got ported back outside and fought three new machine enemies. - the fight was finished and we got greeted with a thank you screen, thanking the people who worked on the Mod. Here is a recording of the stream from someone, because unfortunately no VOD exists on Twitch.
