Non-students made fun of German class for being "Nazi talk" and this p----- her off more than anything else, banned mention of German history from 1930-1950 HONORS ENGLISH 11 Ultra-feminist, we had to read exclusively female authors I found out how much I hate Emily Brontë and Jane Austen that year Lowered all the boys' grades by one half-letter at the end of the year AP LIT Also really feminist and into Jane Austen But also liked Steinbeck and Hemingway Let us choose our own final project, open- ended essay ART Kind of depressed, really passionate about art but her funding kept getting cut by the athletic director Some of her work was better than stuff seen in actual museums I hope she got her art displayed BAND Definitely the poorest teacher, drove a s----- car and lived in a trailer Also got his funding cut by the athletic director In charge of disciplinary actions Wayyyy too involved in the 2016 primaries AP GOV IND Was definitely biased toward some students There were times when I absolutely wasn't guilty but I got detention My favorite teacher in high school, had a real passion for history Would stop class to follow 538 polls and tell us who he was voting for Later was involved in the nudes scandal APUSH But would insert 1619 Project stuff into lessons and glorified John Brown When I was in Ukraine she suspended class for a day to do a lesson on me and I'm humbled The only educational content from high school I still remember; taught us how to light fires, stay warm in a snowstorm, compass, and self-defense in nature ALGEBRA He made the mistake of telling a class of 15-year- olds that he ran over a cat For the rest of the year, everyone meowed at him in class He cried in class once and people made fun of that, too Kids are cruel SPANISH 2 Taught us very little of the language, and when she did it was with an obnoxious American accent Would cancel classes for pep rallies Considered himself an "alpha male," told me once to "be a man and look him in the eyes when I talk to him" Mostly watched children's movies with Spanish subtitles and filled out worksheets with vocab words Called them "machines" We played flash games in minimized windows and he never found out COMPUTER LAB | SPANISH 3 Aging man who had no clue how to use a computer Perpetually-pregnant By "world history" she meant "America", hardly taught us about other countries Let us watch completely unrelated movies in class Was really nice and obviously felt bad for her students ENVIORNMENTAL SCIENCE REMEDIAL MATH JOURNALISM Second-favorite teacher Had been a park Knew half her students weren't going to college, miraculously passed everyone at the end of the year ranger in high school, dropped the curriculum altogether to teach us practical life skills for 20 years SUB Everyone looked forward to teachers being sick because of her 20 years older than us but made relatable jokes and would show us meme videos in class Nominal head of the school, but the VP kept taking his power HONORS ENGLISH 12 Showed up to class in sandals and sweatpants Definitely had some kind of undiagnosed mental illness CEP Was part of the 2021 nudes scandal The definition of a Karen, pretended like Game me a week of detention after I everything was a personal affront to her made a school shooting joke a month after Sandy Hook Boomer from mainland Spain, always told students that Spain was much better than Latin America Quiet, bookish man Constantly angry about something WORLD HISTORY ASTRONOMY WORLD POLITICS Trad woman, openly Republican Called BLM "b-------" in class Taught European Spanish, thought South American Spanish was uncivilized trash Tied everything in class to the grandeur of Europe was Ran Science Olympiad and got in trouble for favoring boys over girls Smarter than everyone else Clearly thought she was some revolutionary journalist who just never got discovered Bragged about her bylines in local newspapers in the 1990s The only reason she's on the right is because she was openly Republican CHEMISTRY For some reason was really into gambling Would find ways to gamble with chemistry, gave us chips that represented elements and had us bet them I learned nothing that year BUSINESS Would always pause class to watch his stock positions Made us each start our own business, no matter what it GEOMETRY Congratulated the drug dealer on his hustle Demanded that we stay absolutely silent in class Gave out detentions if we were a minute late PHYSICS Was a Mormon, always came to class dressed nicely Also chess club advisor Mentioned her husband every other sentence Perpetually angry at society Genuinely nice guy but kids made fun of him for being very religious Inserted his own Cold War memories into lessons Would unfairly cover leftist movements BIOLOGY Was going to be in the Olympics but barely didn't make the cut, talked about it in class a lot Always had a soft spot for athletes, let them skip class without consequences HEALTH Doomsday prepper Told us every day that she had her Ford F-150 and was prepared to leave when society broke down GYM Always had a creepy vibe with him, he would drive cheerleaders to school In 2021 he got fired for being a group chat with three other teachers where they traded student nudes Started dating a former student the day she turned 18
