Entry Level Data Analyst - Full time (Remote) It's Caliber. Edmonton, Alberta, Canada (Remote) appropriate projects. • Performs other duties as required in support of the Center's research mission. Apply Save Minimum Education and Experience • Requires a Master's degree in biostatistics, epidemiology, statistics, health informatics/IT, policy analysis/administration, public health, economics or a related field. • A combination of education and professional experience working independently on quantitative/data management projects will be considered. • Two years of data management and analysis experience in a social science, health services, or policy environment and/or training in advanced research methods. • Additional graduate course work up to a PhD may be substituted for one year of experience. Certifications/Licenses Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities • Exceptional organizational skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy. • Proficiency with SAS statistical software and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel is essential. • Ability to build and/or adapt complex programs (e.g., hospital quality and patient safety measures) for innovative uses; requires the ability to understand and revise sophisticated bio-statistical programming. • Ability to effectively interpret supervisor's directions, and communicate progress and problems in a timely way. • Capacity to create visually appealing and understandable presentation of data. • Must work productively and cooperatively with project team members in a highly collaborative, supportive environment. • Ability to develop and maintain clear and organized methodological documentation.
