I live in the American southeast where humidity just makes it worse, like I've heard people say "Arizona may frequently go above 100 (Fahrenheit) but at least it's a very dry heat." For those who don't get why, humidity makes it harder for sweat to cool you down because the air in general is already moist, and a wet heat means your body's natural defense towards heat will barely have an affect. If its just as humid in Italy right now then all I can say is "now I understand why many Italian immigrants stuck to the northern parts of the US."
