Analysis Cent Information and MIAC UNCLASSIFIED//LAW ENFORCEMENT SENSITIVE Maine Information & Analysis Center 207-624-7280 25 October 2023 MIAC.msp@maine.gov ACTIVE SHOOTER (U//LES) The Maine State Police is attempting to locate Robert ((CARD)) as a person of interest regarding a mass shooting incident at Schemengees Bar & Grille Restaurant and the Sparetime Recreation in Lewiston, Maine (ME). 2023-0001109 (U//LES) CARD is a trained firearms instructor believed to be in the Army Reserve stationed out of Saco, ME. (U//LES) CARD was last known to be operating a Maine registration 9246PD 2013 White Subaru Outback with a black bumper. (U//LES) According to law enforcement, CARD recently reported mental health issues to include hearing voices and threats to shoot up the National Guard Base in Saco, ME. CARD was also reported to have been committed to mental health facility for two weeks during summer 2023 and subsequently released. (U//LES) The subject should be considered armed and dangerous. Card's family is cooperating with authorities, law enforcement officials briefed on the investigation told ABC News. Card's sister told investigators she thought Card might have been looking for an ex-girlfriend at the shooting locations, the sources said. One avenue of investigation is whether this mass shooting began as a domestic dispute, according to the sources.
