Kanye's February 2025 Crashout, also known as February 2025 Ye Tweets, refers to a viral Twitter / X posting spree by controversial rapper Kanye West (also known as Ye), from February 6th to February 8th, 2025, when the rapper made a number of inflammatory posts, including "FREE PUFF," "FUCK VIRGIL," "I LOVE HITLER NOW WHAT BITCHES" and "IM A NAZI." Kanye then seemingly concluded his tweeting spree by calling it a "social experiment" and later deleted the post and his account. Several internet users reacted to the posts by questioning Kanye's mental stability, speculating about whether the posts were a way to promote his clothing brand or an upcoming crypto coin, or if any artists and influencers would ever collaborate with Ye in the future.

Background

From February 6th, 2025, through the following two days, rapper Kanye West, now called "Ye," made a series of inflammatory posts on Twitter / X. The posts ranged from him defending fellow rapper P Diddy to him calling himself a Nazi. A number of Kanye's more controversial and notable tweets are shown below.^{[1][2][3][4][5][6]}

Kanye also launched a collaboration with Diddy's clothing brand "Sean John," saying that he plans to split the profits with the jailed musician. Redditor^[7] /u/TheMirrorUS posted about the collaboration and about how Kanye called Diddy his "Hero" to the subreddit /r/Music on February 7th, gathering over 17,000 upvotes in a day.

On February 8th, Kanye posted and then deleted a tweet calling his posts a "social experiment," later writing, "I DONT LIKE THAT I SAID SOCIAL EXPERIMENT I TWEETING EVERYTHING I FELT AND IM NOT FIXING NOTHING FUCK EVERYONE."

On February 7th, 2025, several Kanye fans reacted strongly to him cursing out late fashion designer Virgil Abloh, as seen in a tweet by @CurtisBashar^[9] that gathered over 78,000 likes in a day. Also on February 7th, X^[10] user @ItsNotAdamAtAll tweeted, "Kanye said he’s a Nazi shoutout to Hitler but soon as he said fuck Virgil his stans said WAAAAAIT im crying laughing."

Other Twitter users posted memes and jokes about Kanye's extended rant, as seen in February 7th, 2025, posts by users @supersonic16023^[11] and @yandhiisntreal,^[12] each gathering over 40,000 and 20,000 likes, respectively, in two days.

Other internet users reacted to Kanye's rant as well, with Redditor /u/HautAssMess posting several of Ye's tweets to the subreddit /r/popculturechat,^[8] writing, "Kanye West’s disturbing tweets from this morning. He praises Hitler among other disgusting comments," and gathering over 23,000 upvotes in a day.
