This is a "royal who actually do something" MC who actively helps randos, 25% because it's her duty as a royal heir, 25% because doing good feels good, and 50% she's a loot goblin like the player, and she has no problem in asserting her authority by pointing their bullshit made her evil hurting sword tangible and they have one last chance before acting on the sword's judgement.

Not-Morshu sees all of this and goes, "do you want to try your luck?"

Note how Arzette is creeped out by how her gun is powered by souls, and icked that the grandma casually has 50 souls in her pocket to give her. When we come back to the shopkeeper, he's casually selling souls, too. Clearly not one to be trifled with.
