You can take this on any historical event with 2 rival groups, and claims that people from one of the groups would post it. That doesn't change the fact that his suicide was completely pointless, with zero impact on the event itself!
Also, I would argue that the Jews would post it to mock how everyone did so little and so late to stop the Holocaust.
