Those who go on about "Free Palestine!" often have no idea what it entails, and don't realize that Palestine was never an independent state (with its name coming from the British based on the Roman name for the territory, as Arabic lacks the consonant /p/). There is also the ironic fact that many of those who say the Israel is a settler colony live in countries like the U.S. and Canada. Simply put, the Israelis aren't going anywhere (nor should the Palestinians).

Those calling for the ceasefire should also put pressure on Hamas to comply with it (though we all know that Hamas wouldn't honor it, anyway).
