Today, I'll spend the day: - Getting ahead on work. - Catching up on last week. - Focusing on some deeper work. While the rest of the team enjoys some much-needed time off. Yet most people will call me an idiot for working. They'll say: - "You're going to burn out." "You can't keep it up." "It's not healthy." But what happened to promoting working hard? Our grandparents literally: - Worked in coal minds. - Grafted for 12+ hour shifts. -Had much tougher lives than us. Yet I can't tap a few keys behind a laptop on a bank hol222 much-needed time off. I'm all for promoting a work-life balance. But it's time we stopped degrading people who want to work hard. And if you're working this bank hol... Don't be ashamed, be proud of yourself. Very few people want to work hard nowadays.
