Here is my Evidence. 1. In the episode "Sisterhooves Social During the Sweetie Bell cooking scene. You hear Smoke alarms going off. Now assuming the technology advances of current Equestria, those smoke alarms should be using ionization, or the release of alpha particles by means of an radioactive alpha decay (when the smoke passes through the alpha particles it disrupts the ion connection). This so called metal is Am241 or Americium 241. Now Americium is a man-made material, or in this case, "Pony-Made". When P242 decays through beta decay, it will soon become Americium. (Am241 was first discovered after the first Atomic test, "Trinity" so the only way for them to obtain it for commercial use is by once testing an atomic device) Now when you hear Plutonium (P) what do you think off? Atomic bombs right? Maybe the Everfree forest is like it is due to Testing? If they have Am241 for smoke alarms, then clearly they have a, or THE, periodic table of elements. Thus meaning they have Lithium, Uranium, Plutonium, Hydrogen (obviously) and so on. >pic related 2. a Level A HAZMAT suit, as seen in "The Cutie Pox", Was seen worn by a few background ponies. Level A HAZMAT is the best protection you can get from Chem/Bio attacks, and with the Cutie Pox scare they did seem prepared for a CBRNe Attack. as theses are available to the public. 3. In the episode "Secret of My Excess" Spike had become a greed filled monster. Now what interested me about this episode the most was the presence of an Air Raid alarm in Ponyville. An alarm used to warn the masses about an impending Air Strike, Life threatening Weather (Pegasi weapon of choice id presume) or other forms of attack. These alarms were mostly used during a World War for obvious reasons. So clearly the alarm its self was an old relic of a past World War perhaps? □ wMDs in Equestria: Continued. There government may be ran differently and may even have different religions. Who is to say that other countries of not only Pony kind but other races wouldn't be extremist, and look for ways to inflict the most amount of death possible? 5. In "May the best pet win Rainbow Dash said'as fast as a bullet and eventually names her Turtle, im sorry tortoise, "Tank." She referred to him being as strong as a tank no clearly these items must exist to use them as references and figures of speech. 6.Throughout the Series fire works have been shown. Now as we've seen with Trixie, Unicorns can create them, but with larger pyrotechnical shows, it may be clear that Gun powder may exist. 7. In "Wonderbolt Academy throughout the episode you see various hangars and buildings. As some of these may be barracks, what else would they need to store? They have pegasi, possible Nuclear Silos or Top Secret weapon storage? (Since the wonderbolts are basically the Air Force they may have weapons that we don't know of, as seen with the royal guard [basically the infantry, as they have weapons of spears and magic]) 8. In "MMDW you see a damn. Clear to the right of the Damn was a generator or power storage device of sorts. So they have Hydroelectric Power? With natural U238 and a clear Elemental Table (perhaps Alchemy was once done by StarSwirl?) And advances of modern science they may have Nuclear Energy as well.
