In the anime, Stitch believes Lilo abandoned him because she forgot to visit him one day at a beach. In reality, Lilo was taking care of Nani, who was pregnant. Lilo returns to the beach too late, finding his tiki necklace thrown away, causing her to think he abandoned her. They reunite in this episode where Lilo is grown and has a daughter. Lilo states that she never stopped caring for Stitch and the two make up.
