I just found this very anatomical fact out yesterday.

Also, if I remember correctly, animals are female by default and males are a mutation that exists for reproductive purposes (hence why men have two different chromosomes instead of two of the same). It's why prostates are basically inert male uteruses, if I'm getting my info correct.
