How was I supposed to save you while I was captured by those robot bears armed with rocket launchers? I was outnumbered, for heaven's sake. I got killed 48 times and had to use up nearly all of my 1-up mushrooms just to wipe out the entire army of those robotic freaks.

You should be lucky that I managed to save one 1-up mushroom, though. Here, have one.
