Shining Armor had always wanted to fly. Ever since his sister Twilight Sparkle had become a princess, he had become especially jealous. However, he was not an alicorn. And he would probably never become one, unless he achieved something really amazing However, one day he hired a book about balloons from the Golden Oaks Library, which had just been repaired. He read something truly fascinating in it. At first he thought it was a joke, but further research confirmed it was true Pony testicles inflated massively when air went into contact with them. Chemical reactions caused them to fill with gas, creating a pleasant sensation. However, when the testicles inflated too much, the individual would start to float in the air. While this would usually seem terrifying, to Shining Armor it was an opportunity Princess Cadance was flabbergasted at the very thought of her blowing air down Shining's uretha, but she reluctantly agreed to try it. "OK, Shining, if you really want to.", she said, with a nervous but optimistic look on her face The next day, the couple went out into an open field just a kilometer east of the Crystal Empire, near the boundaries. Cadance used her magic to stroke Shining Armor's penis, slowly turning it erect. When it was erect, she wrapped her lips around the head and began blowing into his uretha. Shining felt his balls start to fill with gas immediately. The sensation was pleasant, dreamy. As Cadance was about to blow more air inside, however, a sudden breeze blew Shining away into the air. The white unicorn stallion began floating in the air, with balls like beachball-sized balloons. He was ecstatic to finally be floating in the air. It wasn't quite flying, but it was close. The nice sensation in his balls only added to it. It wasn't exciting for long however, as Shining began floating towards the edge of the empire. He soon floated out into the freezing cold arctic skies. Cadance screamed and began running back to the palace to contact the royal guards. By the time the pegasus guards found him, he was unconscious and almost dead of hypothermia, with a pack of Troodon dinosaurs nibbling his hooves. It took him two days to come back to consciousness, and three weeks to fully recover When he woke up, Cadance was there with a very unamused look on her face Shining couldn't say much, except that he'd promise never to float in the air on his balls again. Three hours later, a royal guard had leaked the news. It spread through Equestria and even beyond like fire in an ocean of gasoline. Although the guard was executed by woolly mammoth for leaking out the news, nobody except Princess Cadance would take Shining Armor for quite a while, if ever again.
