About
Cordilia James Wig Wall Street Journal, also known as Wall Street Journalist Wig or Cordilla James Wigs, refers to a viral debate regarding the Wall Street Journal (WSJ) journalist Cordelia James and the wigs she wore in a series of TikTok posts on the tabloid's account. The debate about her wigs started to go viral in late February 2025, spawning mixed reactions on TikTok, as some criticized people for sharing negative comments about the reporter, while others joked about her bad wig installations.
Origin
On February 19th, 2025, TikTok[1] user @aunaturalelipbutterbalms stitched a now-deleted WSJ video featuring journalist Cordilia James commenting about a bird flu epidemic in the United States. Without directly commenting on James' wig, the creator said, "Now ya'll know ya'll wrong," suggesting others have also noticed the reporter's wig. The video received over 2 million plays and 65,000 likes in two weeks.
