I know that feeling too. I don't have Autism, but my little brother does, and he also has the amazing ability to quote and draw things from just memory, especially from Guardians of the Galaxy recently. While also having that disadvantage of most social cues, but we don't throw pity parties everyday because of that, we just want him to be happy with his interests without having to feel like he has to be shielded from the outside world.
Also, unlike many SJWs who think they can just speak up for demographics they don't even understand themselves, I just ignore all the use of "Autistic" as an insult (even though I find it stupid), but it does feel good to find a post on a website like this that brings a more understanding and good view upon those who have Autism.
(TL;DR version: This post speaks to me, and it felt good reading about it)
