I know some of you might roll your eyes, but can we deny how much of an impact this property had on some of our lives? Be it the hours we watched it as kids, the fan vids we secretly watched or the ytps that brought us hours of laughter? It's all because she brought the books out of the UK and to the whole world.

I think it was commentary on the fact that the British train companies were scrapping steam locomotives to replace them with Diesels with no regard to the history behind the engines themselves (fun-fact: the type engine that Thomas is based off of no longer exists).

That's why Diesels were so often villains.
