Notes:

The girls' first loss in their respective pokemon competitions.

May: May's Beautifly was hit by Drew's SolarBeam and was severly injured. May cried even though her friends did their best to comfort her.

Dawn: Dawn lost by having less points to Zoey when time ran out. She consoled her mother about it who said that she has her friends to help her.

Serena: Serena and her Fennekin had entered the first stage of the Pokemon Showcase, but her Fennekin tripped which caused them to receive the least amount of points. Early next day, Serena takes a walk with Fennekin and Pancham. Memories of Fennekin's accident run through her and cries uncontrollably. Blaming herself for her loss and at the same time elated that she has finally begun her dream, Serena cuts her hair above her shoulders as a reflection of her journey thus far.
