I always thought Lissa and Lon'Qu were canon. I know that doesn't exist in FE perse, but think about it: Owain is a Myrmidon class like Lon'Qu, that's obvious. The most defining reason however is this scene. Owain is always scared of his father being shot because in the future that's just what he died doing. During Lissa and Lon'Qu's conversations, Lon'Qu takes an arrow for her right before their S support. Echoing what happens to Owain's father. Foreshadowing much?
