Fire Emblem: Genealogy of the Holy War

Sigurd (who is the main lord in the first half of the game), is betrayed by Arvis in an event known as the Battle of Bellhalla, in which Arvis burns him alive with the Valflame spell. To top it all off, Deirdre is Sigurd’s wife, who has been kidnapped and brainwashed to marry Arvis, who also happens to be her half brother (though neither of them knows that they are half-siblings). Arvis actually brings Deirdre out before Sigurd in order to taunt him before killing him.
