Earliest instance I found in a 5 minute search was This 9gag version from June 2012. There are probably earlier versions, but issue is that google search ends you up with a lot of first world angst problems.

Actually, I think this image could be it's earliest instance. It was posted on the /r/funny subreddit on May 29th, 2012, a month earlier.
This image was posted on the Name That Meme thread a few months back.
