Flannel Fetish Alcide, is an image macro series Alcide Herveaux (portrayed by Joe Manganeillo). Set in the True Blood universe created by Alan Ball, Flannel Fetish Alcide is shown outside of his home wearing his trademark flannel also in front of his contracting truck. The captions all highlight the constant love of Flannel material that the character enjoys wearing in almost every episode that he appears in, usually to portray the character's rough exterior that most females who watch the show enjoy.

Origin

The idea for Flannel Feitsh Alcide came into fruition by two self proclaimed Truebies known as (Barubel and celloplyr4jesus) that absolutely love the show and see the need for some lighthearted fun to be made of the sometimes common themes that each individual character portrays. Seeing one Mr. Herveaux as a quick and easy target, stock photos are gathered around the internet, the best is chosen, and captions are made that include flannel in white impact font with a black background. Every meme released by the pair are gone through extensive retooling to ensure comic hilarity ensues. On September 12th, 2011, fuckinsookeh.tumblr.com was created to display the new true blood memes by the pair.

Spread

As of current, the tumblr now has 31 followers, a decent amount of reblogs, and is now on reddit, as well as the True Blood Subreddit, waiting to spread and be enjoyed by the masses.
