The Site was created by the Arizona Foundation for Legal Services and Education with the specific goal of educating Arizona’s youth, their parents, communities and schools to increase their knowledge about youth laws and to encourage law-abiding behavior. It hosts a wide range of activities for children such as <a href="http://www.lawforkids.org/games/browse.cfm">games</a>, <a href="http://www.lawforkids.org/stories/browse.cfm">stories</a> and of course, <a href="http://www.lawforkids.org/toons/browse.cfm">toons.</a> Let’s take a look at some of their comic strips shall we? They held a contest to see who could come up with the funniest parody of the strip as well. Making fun of lawforkids.org strips can be found on <a href="http://www.ultimate-guitar.com/forum/showthread.php?t=490002">the Ultimate Guitar forums</a>, <a href="http://www.facepunch.com/showthread.php?t=775064">Facepunch forums</a> <a href="http://www.facepunch.com/showthread.php?t=216564">twice</a>, an archived <a href="http://4chanarchive.org/brchive/dspl_thread.php5?thread_id=16972676&x=Lawls+For+Kids" title="NSFW">4chan thread</a> there are even some <a href="http://lawforkidsheadshot.ytmnd.com/">YTMNDs</a>. The site found it’s way to <a href="http://digg.com/tech_news/Law_For_Kids:_Comic_Strips">digg</a> in 2006 and <a href="http://www.reddit.com/domain/lawforkids.org">reddit</a> in 2008. The site appeared on <a href="http://www.metafilter.com/archived.mefi/12/01/2003/">metafilter</a> on December 14th 2003.
