About

"Love Sosa" Intro is a copypasta based on the prologue of the 2012 rap single "Love Sosa" by American hip hop artist Chief Keef in which a teenage boy angrily rants about people who make fun of the rapper. While the song was originally released in 2012, snowclones of the intro went viral on Black Twitter and hip hop forums in early 2016.

Origin

On July 17th, 2012, YouTuber Jordan Gilty uploaded a video titled "16 Year Old Boy Goes Off On Chief Keef Haters," which has gained over half a million views. Later that same year, the video attained minor notoriety after Chief Keef sampled the audio track of the rant into his song "Love Sosa", in the album version of the track. The original video gained just under 60 million views.

On October 14th, 2013, Tumblr user basednigel[2] posted the lyrics of the intro to "Love Sosa," along with a photograph of a spokesman for Al-Qassam Brigades holding a press conference in Gaza from December 2010. The post garnered over 2,700 notes in two and a half years.

On January 16th, 2016, Tumblr user HotCheetoPrincess posted the lyrics on her blog. On the next day, Redditor BigDogDix submitted the text to the /r/copypasta subreddit.[4] However, the lyrics didn't reach its breakout status as a copypasta meme until late March 2016, when it began making the rounds among hip hop fans on Twitter. On March 16th, Twitter user @Abstrvct posted a tweet linking to an Aries horoscope featuring the quote. On March 31st, Twitter user @_King_Cinco5, tweeted the copypasta with a picture of SpongeBob Squarepants screaming at the top of his lungs. The tweet gained 3,500 retweets, and 2,500 likes.
