Chuck from the Bronx or thebronx19740 is a man in YouTube named Chuck Saragossi. He attempts YouTube challenges from other YouTubers who dares him to perform a variety of different stunts.
Origin
Chuck from the Bronx started uploading his YouTube videos on March 25th, 2012. His first videos were stories which did not get much attention. It wasn't until a viewer dared him to eat a ghost pepper on camera where his views began to really increase.
Challenges
Ever since Chuck's Ghost Pepper Challenge was posted to YouTube on April 21, 2012, he has been performing all kind of dangerous and funny stunts. He has also eaten a raw onion, cayenne pepper, attempted the 240 warhead challenge, ate the Trinidad Scorpion Butch T pepper, surstromming, and satan's taint (hottest beef jerky in the world).
Spread
Chuck's Ghost Pepper video was posted on Gawker's site and the Huffington Post and came to an instant success. Other media outlets like MTV, RTL Television, and the Tonight Show with Jay Leno quickly asked Chuck to make appearances.
