Sister Feng (Chinese: 凤姐 ; Pinyin: fèng jiĕ) is a Chinese internet celebrity who is ridiculed for her unappealing looks and strange antics.
Her real name is is Luo Yuefeng (Chinese: 罗玉凤 ; Pinyin: luō yùfèng)
Origin
On November 12th of 2009, Luo Yuefeng was seen passing out flyers on the streets of Shanghai. She was fairly average looking, about 4’9", and looking for a marriage partner.
Summary of her requirements in a partner[1]:
1. Must be a Peking University or Qinghua Tsinghua University graduate.
2. Must have a Master’s in Economics and above.
3. Must have an international outlook and perspective. However, the person should not have a long-term plan to settle abroad or immigrate elsewhere.
4. Height should be 176 cm – 183 cm tall, and the more handsome the better. He should be as cool as Andy Lau, as sexy as Simon Yam, as handsome as Leon Jay Williams and as cold as Nicholas Tse.
5. No previous girlfriends, and no previous abortions.
6. They should have been a resident from the Eastern part of China- specifically from the Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Shanghai, Guangdong, Tianjin, Shandong, Fujian, and Beijing provinces- as well as the three northeastern provinces and Inner Mongolia.

Xinmin Interview
On November 17, 2009, Xinmin posted their interview of her.
In it, the interviewer asks Miss Luo about herself, including her job, her family background, reasons for marriage, how many previous boyfriends she has had, if she thinks she can get a husband, and if her standards for men maybe too high.
Luo Yuefeng answers: she works in sales, her parents divorced when she was 7, she thinks she is at the age to marry and her job is stable, she has had four ex-boyfriends, and she feels hopeful about getting a husband.[2]

One of the more notable ones was this fellow nicknamed Red Locket Man: [3]

Despite being relatively qualified (he has a BMW), he apparently wasn’t up to meet Sister Feng’s demands. He was promptly rejected.
As Sister Feng became more and more famous, she began to have stalkers as well.[3]KDS users tracked her down at her job as a Shanghai Carrefour.
The Love Triangle
On March 9, 2010, Sister Feng appeared on another Shanghai television show… with a good looking boyfriend?!?
He was nicknamed “凤姐夫,” or “Sister Feng’s Husband.”
A MOP thread was started, and reached over 4,000 posts.[4]
Initially, many of the users make typical “ugly” jokes about her, but later, some users in the thread ironically make jokes about how much they don’t want this guy to marry Miss Luo, similar to the reaction that arises after some celebrities get married or get a boyfriend.

Yuefeng’s ex-boyfriend then claimed that Miss Luo had dumped him for this new boyfriend.

Plastic Surgery
On March 30, 2010, Sister Feng got plastic surgery done in the Guangdong Armed Police hospital plastic surgery center. [5]
Amidst the media frenzy asking what she would look like after the procedure, lulz ensued on Baidu, in the form of photoshopped pictures.

On September 20, 2010, Sister Feng did the unthinkable. She posted nude pictures of herself.
These pictures were quickly picked up by Sina, NetEase, and KDS. Some netizens comments were insulting while others were oddly approving.
