Dragon, a carefree and premature lizard, is the leader of the team and the main protagonist of the series. When not saving the day, they make plans for new adventures.
Origin
The Cape Crew was created in 2010 by Youtuber TheUltraSpriter.[1] The Cape Crew has a large cult following and is considered one of the best modern day internet only cartoon series.
Fanbase
According to Monkeyspan[2] The Cape Crews fan base numbers are (presumably) in the tens of thousands. Hundreds of fan made videos have been created on Youtube[3] for the past year or so.
Spread
As early as maybe a year ago people began using phrases and images outside of the context of the show. Due to it's fast-paced action and it's witty one-liners many users have begun spamming lines from the show on Yahoo! Answers[4] Body Building Forums[5] and the gaming website Joystiq.[6]
Search Interest
According to Google Insights interest for "The Cape Crew" started in May 2009.
