Leprechaun is Sighted in Mobile, Alabama!

In 2006, residents of the Crichton area of Mobile, Alabama began to report seeing a Leprechaun in a local tree.

After a new report by the local NBC affiliate, the story went viral. The Youtube video currently has over 12 million views.

Later, a follow up investigation was done.

The sheer ridiculousness of the story made it something quickly targeted by the internets. Image Marcos featuring the infamous amateur sketch, as well as parody videos soon began to spring up.
