"Listen buddy i know i'm basically asking you to join to a side who completely hates you for your race, sexuality, ethnicity, religion while also trying to get your entire family deported from the country if not outright asking for your deaths….buuut have you considered you should join us anyway cause 2 days ago a liberal on twitter said mean things to me and got more likes than my responses???"

Also this goes without saying but maybe don't fucking try to identify your political alignments with a single party in a completely fucked up bi-partisan system? This shit is why so many people nowadays identify as centrists, and then they get mocked for it. Maybe if the bi-partisan system wasn't so bad more people would be happily aligning themselves with parties they can rely on? But yea no let's just mock every centrist out there for not conforming to everything our party believes and not accepting every insane extremist as just "part of the political climate".

I think the worst part in all this is i can actually see this man's point when i look past the sheer stupidity but even then the problem just starts stemming from the fact that he tries to align his entire belief system with one party alone, and when that doesn't work, he blames everyone else for it while also suggesting other people who are supposedly on his side to join a party that will treat them much worse at the end of the day.
