Also because an apology gives them leverage, "why would he apologize if he wasn't guilty?"

Never apologize to these people, they're just going to use it as a weapon against you.

As seen with the "Shirtstorm just consisted of Matt Taylor receiving mild criticism for his behavior which he acknowledged as justified until internet misogynists used it to attack women in tech!" narrative that some SJWs are still trying to sell.

> So, if that happened to me, I would say, “Who are you to judge? I won’t apologize so you can ruin my life. If you try to get me fired, I would sue you for defamation of character.”

> Would that work?

The standard job targeting involves anonymous mobs, so first you have to identify them. Then you have to pay the lawyer to sue which is not going to be cheap (and you don't have a job), then it's going to take years to work its way through the courts while the original accusations are Streisanded, then it requires them to have money otherwise it's not worth it.

Cernovich details the problems well during his "lie about me in Zoe Quinn's book and I'm shoving a lawsuit up your ass" article.

> Also, you seem to be against anything that’s left wing, right?

Very wrong.
