There's also the fact that it's a movie and those things have a shitton of budget for animation, not to mention that Love Live makes so much goddamn money that Sunrise can afford to throw wads of cash at a lot of projects. Not to mention that Studio 8 is legitimately really good. Wish they'd get handed more mecha stuff, actually.
