We introduce the protagonist, a cute, meek girl with minimal social skills.

Next, we have her move into high school, and change her looks. She will spruce up her appearance, and not only appear more confidant, but act on it too!

Then, we ruin her life with drugs, have her drop out of school, and die in a bathroom alone and wishing for a better future for her unborn child- w-wait, what?!

I mean, some choose to see it that way, but it is heavily implied that whole sequence is just her final hallucination from the drugs as she passes away.
