RWBY - Ruby's Gesugao face

Whats with it with Ruby looking so good in a dark setting? Like i know all main heroines in any show get dark versions of them selfies but ruby just seems to fit sooooo well with the style. Maybe its her character design being Gothic and the fact she uses a scythe or something idk.
