TV Tropes - TVTropes's comment on the situation

Since I use TV Tropes to keep up on various anime and games, along with finding out whether I'd be interested in anything new, this fills me with rage and anxiety. Hopefully it doesn't take TOO long to fix.
At the very least I still have KYM to keep me occupied when I have very little to do.

"Database failure due to a firmware issue". Well there goes the eager intern.

I remember one vendor getting major brownie points due to us not asking the website chat to confirm the RAM modules would be compatible with our servers (we did that ourselves by poring over the datasheets), only to have them not work when they arrive. We ask chat just out of obligation… and they turn out to be real experts, calling up the vendor and figuring out a firmware update would make the modules work, BUT if we had certain configurations, that would fuck over our storage, so they helped us getting modules that would work with older firmware revisions.

I'm not holding my breath on this one.
