Meh i actually like color splash and enjoy what I played of origami king before real life problems put the play through on hold.

"Keep complaining their franchises suck now but the games still sell high numbers so as much as they don't want to admit it the people who complain aren't nearly large enough to make a difference, and the majority of fans now actually do like what they play but aren't as loud because negativity is always louder on the internet." (And for reference origami king has gotten off to a pretty high start, the launch alone outselling the launches of every previous PM)

If you want a fun TTYD spiritual successor, Bug Fables is very fun and reminiscent of it while also managing to be its own thing with a lot of charm.

I personally bought it for my switch so I could fill the paper themed RPG shaped hole in my heart.
