The resident furry population barely regards that anything has animal-like traits at all. Dog people eat chocolate. Deer people somehow put on non-button up shirts. Shark people walk on dry land.
Most of the time, furry people don't even have fur. They just have cartoony, colored skin covering their body that everybody pretends is fur or scales. The only occasions where artists acknowledge that lizard people might be cold blooded is in very particular works of fiction where a character is freezing to death. My hypothesis is that dragons are warm-blooded because they always live high in the mountains, never wear anything, and breathe fire. A proper dragon would probably unconsciously set fire to a city block with a light jog.
