I can literally only recall ONE CEO who willingly cut his own pay so no employees would be let go when the company wasn't doing so hot, and that was Satoru Iwata. Literally can't think of anyone else who did that, it feels like 99.9% of CEOs would rather "let go" of the people beneath them than cut their own "way too high" salaries.

Hell even with Iwata no longer being the head of Nintendo due to his untimely passing, it was still confirmed recently the current head of the company, Shuntaro Furukawa, only takes home around $2 million A YEAR. Compare that to what dude's like Bobby Kotick or Andrew Wilson will take home in a month and it's clear Nintendo is one of the only big name companies where I can say that, for all their legitimate faults when it comes to other areas, their higher ups at least haven't let greed corrupt them.
