I've never really seen a 3D TV show that's looked 'good.'
I think that TV production schedules are just too fast to even out enough of the rough edges in the animation and modeling.
There are some shows that can overcome this by having exceptionally strong material, but to me, 3D renders are almost always a detriment.
Good old 2D works just fine for me!
