I like Spike… one of my favorite characters, but man… They hyped up this episode since the LAST FUCKING SEASON!

At least the Galloping Gala episode actually had to do with the damn event.

And they completely have it overshadowed by Spike's sudden bout with stage fright? Something he's never shown to have before?! Because… apparently he's going for Fluttershy's job now…

I wouldn't mind it so much if that was more of a subplot, or if this episode happened and the very next one would be the finale… Like the new villain shows up during the games, and that's how the whole thing starts off… but nope…

But it is reaching that stage where fear of Season Rot takes effect.
