It started out as a series of video logs about a teenage girl. It wasn't incredibly well known but It was a fairly big thing when it was revealed that it was a hoax and Lonelygirl 15 was really American born Kiwi actress Jessica Rose. The videos than got weirder when it had Bree (Jessica) join a cult then be killed by them, ending the series. It was a big enough thing to npire the episode of Law and Order: Criminal Intent called Weeping Willow.
