Debating "what is art" is a pointless argument. It is a wall, a barrier, to asking deeper questions: Is this good art? What is it's impact? What is it trying to convey? What standards should we use to judge this piece of art.

The problem is, there hasn't been anything avant garde in decades. All we have is pretentious philistines maskarading as artists.

At this point even the modern art museums have realized it's all bullshit
